Imladris Guard

Imladris Guards are the protectors of the Last Homely House: Rivendell. They guard their Lord Elrond from any evil that would inavde their precious valley.

Spawning

Imladris Guards can spawn any time of the day, only at the Last Homely House location.

Behavior

Imladris Guards will attack any player or creature aligned with an evil faction, which due to their location, generally means Gundabad units. They generally wander around aimlessly when they are not fighting enemies.

Equipment

Imladris Guards fight enemies with a Rivendell Bow and a random Rivendell melee weapon, which are only the sword and spear at the moment. Imladris Guards cannot be hired, but are a very strong unit due to their high tier armor.

Strategy

When fighting Imladris Guards or any other ranged enemy, a shield is extremely useful to block arrows.
Fighting Elven Warriors is almost always a bad idea: They have a strong ranged attack and full armor, so if you want to fight them, you better bring an army.
If you are fighting larger numbers, try to draw them towards you one by one, as a large group can overwhelm you with arrows very quickly.

Lore

The Rivendell Elves are Noldorin Elves who dwell in Rivendell, home of the Lord Elrond. They are more ancient than the Wood-Elves and Galadhrim, and are great warriors and loremasters.
