Bree-land Smith

The Bree-land Smith is a trader that specializes in weapons and armour.

Spawning

The Bree-land Smith spawns in the smithy, found in Bree-land villages.

Behavior

Bree-land Smiths will wander around their smithy when not selling goods. Upon death, a silver coin will float above the ground where they died, signifying that they will respawn here after a short period of time.

Equipment

Bree-land Smiths fight with a Blacksmith's hammer.

Trading

Smiths will not trade with players if they have negative alignment with Bree-land. Upon trading with them, the player will be bestowed the advancement "Arms for the Road".

Smiths sell the goods of their trade. This includes weapons and armour.

Bree-land Smiths also buy many supplies, such as ingots and gems.

Strategy

There is no need to fight a Bree-land Smith, but if you do, it is easy to kill them with a longer weapon such as a spear, or with a bow, since they don't have a ranged attack, just watch out for their hammer!

Lore

The Bree-land people were men who wandered over the Misty Mountains but did not continue west like the Edain. They found the area to be pleasant, and settled there for good. They were there before the Númenóreans, after the kingdom of Arnor, and will be forever according to them.
