Bree-land Merchant
The Bree-land Merchant is a traveling trader like the Oddment Collector that sells Bree-land items.
Spawning
The Bree-land Merchant will spawn fairly close to a player with a message like "Harry Honeysuckle the Bree-land Merchant has arrived nearby." The Merchant will appear with several guards to portect it.
Behavior
The Bree-land Merchant will wander around the area they spawned. Upon death, a silver coin will float above the ground where they died, signifying that they will respawn here after a short period of time. After awhile, the Merchant will leave the area.
Equipment
The Bree-land Merchant fights with either a iron or bronze dagger.
Trading
Merchants will not trade with players if they have negative alignment with Bree-land.
Merchants sell the goods of their trade. This includes Bree-land items like banners and shields.
Bree-land Merchants also buy many supplies, such as food.
Strategy
- There is no need to fight a Bree-land Merchant, but if you do, it is easy to kill them with a longer weapon such as a spear, or with a bow, since they don't have a ranged attack.
Lore
The Bree-land people were men who wandered over the Misty Mountains but did not continue west like the Edain. They found the area to be pleasant, and settled there for good. They were there before the Númenóreans, after the kingdom of Arnor, and will be forever according to them.
